Ever since I can remember, I have always loved drawing. It was my favorite form of expression. I could sketch out a concept faster than it would take to explain it to you. I discovered “graphic design” in the form of MS Paint on Windows 3.1 and it was all over.
I have been working and playing with the Internet since I was a child. My first memories of it are the shrill carrier tones from dial-up modems. I built my first website when I was in middle school and began dabbling in professional web/graphic design for the then biggest company in the world, Citigroup.
It was there that I realized how important the Internet and intranets are to a business. Information is key whether from outside sources or from within. Sharing information is important both to external and internal clients.
I am now doing freelance graphic and web design. I love the new direction the Internet is taking these days. The lines between design, marketing, and social networking are blurring. The cloud has become the new computing model and everyone is adding their own coding to the world wide web. Millions of people carry the net around with them and access it everyday. I am always looking to learn something new and am absolutely fascinated by the Internet and how it is continuing to grow and evolve. This is a fast-paced and extremely exciting time.
I am also a musician and have toured all over the United States and Europe. I love to travel. I enjoy cycling and running and try to commute everywhere using those two methods. I love doing martial arts and train in boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
